EU Med means Business: Shaping the future of entrepreneurship in the South was a conference initiated by the European Commission and hosted between 21-22 May 2019 in Brussels. This event was organised in collaboration with Candid Foundation. This multi-stakeholder conference aimed to facilitate an honest and open debate between interlocutors from across the Mediterranean about the challenges and opportunities for investment and entrepreneurship in the Neighbourhood South.

The voices and ideas of young entrepreneurs who attended the conference will be fed into a new policy cycle at the European Commission. The discussions concluded in a set of recommendations for policy makers at the European Commission and in the region on how to continue supporting entrepreneurs and facilitating investment.
