On 16 March 2023, the Candid Foundation, the Hertie School, the Restart Initiative and the office of Tabea Rößner (Greens, Member of German Parliament), held a Breakfast Briefing on prospects for peace in the South Caucasus. The briefing took place in the German Bundestag. Two heads of influential think-tanks from Armenia and Azerbaijan came to Berlin and were the two keynote speakers at the event: Farhad Mammadov , Director of the Centre for South Caucasus Studies in Baku, and Benjamin Poghosyan, Chairman of the Centre for Political and Economic Strategic Studies in Yerevan. We discussed with the current state of affairs between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the prospects for the signing of a peace agreement between these two countries.
