Candid Media & Science

10 participants from 5 countries met in Tunis from June 19-22, 2023, for 4 days of instruction and exchange on tools and experiences and best practices in science-based and constructive journalism in a series of lessons given by instructors from Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ).

The second workshop of the Candid Media & Science programme with 12 participants from 7 countries took place from September 25-28, 2023, in Beirut.

Six representatives from the Tunis and Beirut workshops presented their research and reporting and its impact on local approaches to face climate-change-related challenges at the COP28 in November in Dubai.

The Candid Media & Science programmed was supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
